I think learning other language is so exciting. You can communicate with foreign people, not only as American or English, but also Asian, Oceanian, African and so on. I had been in Papua New Guinea(PNG) where located in south pacific. whan I was in PNG I communicate in their languge Enlish and Pidgin English whihc are common language in PNG. I learn Pidgin Enalish there when I arrived at PNG first. It makes me easy to commuicate with local people and makes me easy to understand them.
I hope you keep going, then you will be able to blush up your English well.
